Just a regular guy from Alvin

Last night we went to the Maimarkt Club to see our friend Fernie from Alvin play with his Grooveline Horns and Jason Mraz! We had so much fun, and were amazed that the horn section was such a big part of the show! Fernie was so great. He introduced us to everyone we ran into back stage and we got to see the tour bus, too! And he set us up in the sound booth so we weren't squished between people! :)

The funny/odd thing that we were able to share was that we are living completely different lives, but missing the same thing. He is living his dream, being an incredible musician, and getting to travel all around the world. We are a military family, stationed in Germany with a unique opportunity to travel so much while living in Europe, too. But at the end of the day, we all just really want to go home, see people we know who have the same background and history we do. And eat some really great mexican food! We really enjoyed connecting with Fernie again and seeing a great show!
