The counter says this: 395 days, 7 hrs, 57 mins, & 15 secs! (probably a bit less now)
But the truth is...we will probably be home this time next year!!! That's right, ONE YEAR to go. Our DEROS (Date Eligible for Return From Overseas) <--yes, I looked it up.--is 10 AUG 2009. Well, apparently the way it is done is that you usually take 30 days leave prior to flying out. That would put us at Aug 10 minus 1 month...that's...you got it, July 10, 2009. ONE YEAR.
In that time, we hope to fit in more skiing, possible trips to Prague, Rome, return to Paris, Greece, Austria...etc. We are also looking forward to a few visitors. So, my planning gene is kicking in and hoping to help the time fly until we get orders, move to the guest house (temporary housing between here and there) and get home!

Not much longer to go! !We are keeping our fingers crossed for orders to Sicily we will find out around December. Good luck with your planning. I hope you will be able to catch a trip to all of the wonderful places you would still like to see! Keep taking many beautiful pics! HUGS!

AWESOME! 2 things to celebrate on 07.10.09 - it's Logan's 1st birthday! What a great present for him to get to meet Aunt Heather & Uncle Steve! I cannot wait till you're back on this continent!! Love you both!
ok, just realized he'll MEET you before then, because you'll be home on leave (hopefully!), but, you know what I mean. It will still be a great present for him!
