24 hours off

Having my eyes twitch, one and then the other, off and on for two weeks sent me to take extreme measures. I grounded myself from the computer for 24 hrs. They are still doing it, but less so (and of course more now that I'm on it).

Wow, what one can get done in 24 hours off the computer. 6pm Saturday-6pm Sunday: Three loads of laundry, two cooked dinners and one lunch, one batch of cookies, eleven hours of sleep, one hour of budgeting, a couple hours of card making, about 30 minutes of yardwork, a couple hours of cleaning, some listmaking and planning, one movie and a couple of tv shows. It should be noted that the television was off about 20 hours of this time as well.

Sometimes it's good to unplug for a little while.
