Farewells are not always goodbyes. This is LTC Astin standing w/ SB. He was Stephen's Company Commander in Korea in 1996. Then, he was his Battalion XO (like my MAJ W) in Korea again (different post) in 2002, and now he is the Garrison Commander (like LTC Fletcher in Mannheim) in Darmstadt (just down the road)! He was at the Farewell Dinner!
