The Spargel

I thought I asked what spargel was before. I looked to find where that was, but couldn't find it. Anyway...looks like asparagus?

We've given up grilling, because we can't do it. Raw or burned, take your pick. No one post "how to" grill for me. We're not interested. We're fine with indoor cooking, and the occasional invite to someone's house to eat grilled food.

And again I am wondering who in the world EVER thought to eat that??? 'Oh, here's a stick on the ground, let me pick it up and grill it! I'll be yummy!'

Kinda like "oh, here are some ball things in the dirt. How 'bout we peel them, smash them and put lots of butter on them and they will be YUMMY!!!'

CGB-you did. It is on may 19's comments. We mainly like the outdoor cooking for the summertime because once you add heat to a house with no a/c in the summertime...misery sets in.

KC-True, but this is grown under the ground also, like potatoes, so that it doesn't turn green or lose any sweetness. Butter, I believe, is the key to all that is yummy!

54:13, I simply can't accept your giving up on grilling. You live in TX for pete's sake! It is so much easier than cleaning up the whole kitchen. You can do it!!

I'm going to ask GG for a grilling blog post just for you. Don't try to argue. You must at least TRY it!
